joint family is a type of extend family which consists of parents their children suppose their children and a nuclear family is composed of parents and their children

The basic difference between nuclear family and joint family is that a nuclear family refers to a single family where parents can live with their children.


On the other part, join family can treated as extended family where relatives such as grandparents, in-laws, aunts and uncles can live together.


Both of the families have some advantage and disadvantages.
