Physical change is a change in a substance's appearance which can be reversed and brought back to the same state
Chemical change cannot be reversed and changed back
hence, a new substance is formed
In physical change the substance is affected by heat,light,sound or any such factor and can be reversed Eg- ice on heating melts and by reversing we mean cooling it back which is a physical change
In chemical change this happens but its just that it can be brought back and a new substance originates Eg- Burning of a candle, here, the candle burns hence releasing gas and a new substance, which is ash.
