The differences between plane figures and solid shapes are-

1. Plane figures can be measured in terms of length and breadth while solid shapes can be measured in terms of length, breadth, and height. Plane figures are known as two-dimensional and solid shapes are said to be three-dimensional.

2. Plane figures can be constructed in a drawing space while solid shapes cannot be.

3. Plane figures are triangles, squares, rectangles, and circles.
