Write differences between apes and humans.​

Information about apes are as follows:-

  • 1. They are semi erect posture.

  • 2. Have thick growth of hair on their whole body.

  • 3. Less cranial capacity in them is of about 450cc and hence are less intelligent.

  • 4. Forelimbs in them are longer than hind limbs.

  • 5. 'U' shaped jaw is found & chin is absent in them.

  • 6. In them, thumb is reduced in size.

Some points on humans are as follows:-

  • 1. Complete erect posture with bipedal locomotion is found in them.

  • 2. Only on certain body parts thick growth of hair is found.

  • 3. More cranial capacity about 1300-1600 cc) and therefore are more intelligent.

  • 4. Forelimbs are shorter than hind limbs.

  • 5. Semicircular jaw & chin is present in them

  • 6. Thumb was opposable in them.

(4) Humans are terrestrial in their habitat and they cannot stay on trees.
