Write differences between nitrification and denitrification?

Nitrification is done by nitrifying bacteria like nitrosomonas and nitrobacter. Denitrification is the process of reducing the nitrates present in the soil to release nitrogen gas back into the atmosphere. nitrification= it is the conversion of ammonia first into nitrites then into nitrates by nitrifying bacteria.
