These are movements towards the stimulus.
eg : Phototropism i.e movement of plants towards sunlight due to hormone called auxins.
Nastic :
These movements are not associated with stimulus . They are performed by touch or immediate action to save their lives.
eg : Closing of leaves of Mimosa Pudica..
