Explanation:

A flatworm has a thin, dorsoventrally flattened body. Roundworms are more cylindrical in shape and tapered to a fine point at one end. Similarly, roundworms have a rigid outer covering called a cuticle that they shed repeatedly throughout their lives and as they grow.

Flatworms :-

  • Do not have a body cavity and therefore the three cell layers are not separated.

  • Flatworms have a one-way digestive tract. Waste is taken in and expelled through the same passage.

Round worms :-

  • Roundworms are the members of the Phylum: Nematoda

  • Roundworms are pseudocoelomates

  • Roundworms have a two-way tract, with a mouth and anus.
