living things can show various life processes which non living things cant like we can respire but they can't, like organisms have the tendency to produce young ones of their own kind similarly we can show movement which is the most important criteria to determine or distinguished b/w living and non living like we (humans) can move from one place to another but plants cant show this type of movement instead they show movement which is invisible like growth or transportation of water and food from one part to another.
