They are exclusively marine animals. The organisms are spiny-skinned. They exhibit organ level of organization. They are triploblastic and have a coelomic cavity.

2)Annelids

exhibit bilateral symmetry and are invertebrate organisms. They are coelomate and triploblastic. The body is segmented which is the most distinguishing feature of annelids.

3) Porifera

Only a few are found in freshwater. They are either radially symmetrical or asymmetrical. Their body is usually cylindrical. The scleroblast secretes spicules while spongin fibres are secreted by spongioblasts.
