DIVISIBILITY BY 2

A given no. Is divisible by 2 only when it's unit digit is 0,2,4,6,8.

E.g.→ Each of the no.s 60, 72, 84, 9v6, 108 is divisible by 2.

DIVISIBILITY BY 3

A given no. Is divisible by 3 only when the sum of its digits is divisible by 3.

E.g.→ 2727 is divisible by 3 because it digits sum up to give 18 which is divisible by 3.

DIVISIBILITY BY 4

A given no. Is divisible by 4 only when the no. Formed by its last two digits is divisible by 4.

E.g.→ 41328 is divisible by 4 because last two digits (28) is divisible by 4.

DIVISIBILITY BY 5

A given no. Is divisible by 5 only when it's unit digit is 0 or 5.

E.g.→ Each of the no.s 6740, 3635, 274490 is divisible by 5.

DIVISIBILITY BY 6

A given no is divisible by 6 only when it is divisible by both 2&3.

E.g.→ 48 is divisible by 6 because it is divisible by 2 and 3 both.

DIVISIBILITY BY 7

DIVISIBILITY BY 8

A given no is divisible by 8 only when the no formed by its last three digits is divisible by 8.

E.g.→ 25064 is divisible by 8 because it last three digits (064) is divisible by 8.

DIVISIBILITY BY 9

A given no is divisible by 9 only when the sum of its digits is divisible by 9.

E.g.→ 27981 is divisible by 9 because sum of its digits is 27 which is divisible by 9.

DIVISIBILITY BY 10

A given no is divisible by 10 only when the last digit of the no is 0.

E.g.→ Each of 25860, 35480, 25470 is divisible by 10 because it's last digit is 0.

DIVISIBILITY BY 11

A given no is divisible by 11, if the difference between the sum of the digits at odd place and the sum of its digits at even place, is either 0 or a no. divisible by 11.

E.g.→ 121 is divisible by 11 because the difference of sum of its digits at odd place (1+1=2) and the sum of its digits at even place(2) is 0(2-2=0).
