the north India rivers are antacedent rivers and perennial rivers fed by snow of Himalaya mountain range. while the south India rivers are not perennial in nature.. some example of North India rivers are Brahmaputra, Ganga etc. on other hand Godavari Krishna are the the example of South India river..
