Dear diary,

It was the day many of us were waiting for. We got the report card of 8th standard in school. It was distributed by our class teacher. The reaction of students varied. As per me, I was glad to see the 'A' grade mark in red. No student in my class failed the annual exams. While dad was glad to hear that and was proud of me, mom's face was emotionless. Although I know she is glad too but she could not show it as I would perform worse later. Anyhow, I could see in her eyes the pride and love for me.
