Explanation

Let,

• First integer = x
• second integer = y

➠ x + y = 5 ---------(1)

Again,

➠ x - y = 7-----------(2)

Add equation (1) and (2)

➠ 2x = 12

➠x = 12/2

➠ x = 6

Keep value in equation (2)

➠ 6 - y = 7

➠ y = 6 -7

➠ y = -1

• Value of first integer x = 6
• Value of second integer y = -1
