Child 2- Do you know that people around the world are facing water scarcity issues. It is said that if we keep on wasting this precious resource, we will not have access to this in the coming 50 years.
Child 3- My parents told me that Earth is composed of 70 percent of water and only 30% land. Then why do we need to worry about this?
Child 2- Out of that 70 percent, 97% is saline which means we can not use it. The remaining 3% has major portion as glaciers and we can only consume 0.1% of the fresh water which is available for drinking.
Child 3- Oh! that is something to be worried about.
Child 2- Yes, let us take an initiative and try to conserve water in every household activity. Reuse water where we can and spread awareness among other people as well.
