PROKARYOTIC CELL - cells with poorly defined nuclear region because of the absence of nuclear membrane like bacteria etc are called prokaryotic cells. they contain only nucleic acids called nucleoid. prokaryotic also lack many organelles which are present in eukaryotic cell. it only has one chromosome.

EUKARYOTIC CELL - cells with nuclear membrane are called eukaryotic cell. here nuclear region is well defined and it's surrounded by nuclear membrane. it also has membrane bound organelles and also has more than one chromosome.
