major events occurring in photosynthesis :-

# absorption of solar energy by chlorophyll

# conversion of light energy into chemical energy and splitting of water molecules into hydrogen and oxygen

# reduction of carbon dioxide into carbohydrates

process of photosynthesis take place in 2 steps :-

# light reaction : occur in the presence of Sunlight

# dark reaction : occur with or without the presence of Sunlight but required the product of light reaction .

raw material of photosynthesis:-

1. carbon dioxide from air or leaves
2. water aur minerals from soil or roots and xylem
3. sunlight
4. chlorophyll present in leaves
