My dear Sistah,
In your last letter, you have shown your keen interest to know about the annual sports of our school.
The annual Sports of our school was held on the spacious playground on Friday last. There were many events like relay race, long jump, high jump, 200 metres race, discus throw, orange race etc. I participated in 200 metres race and long jump. I occupied the first position in race. What was most exciting was the relay race in which junior group participated and won the trophy. The event of tug-of-war between the teachers and students was most interesting and drew the eyes of the spectators. The competition continued at last for 15 minutes and the students were crowded with victory. Jyotirmayee Sikdar, the renowned sports personality was present in the occasion as the chief guest and she distributed the prizes to the successful competitors. She also delivered an inspiring speech. I got a big leather bag and a medal.
