There are several criteria for a site to be included in the World Heritage list. Considering that the Mukthinath Temple in the Gandaki province should enlisted in the World Heritage Site, the base that we can consider is: to being tangibly or directly associated with living traditions or events, with ideas, or  beliefs, with literary and artistic works of outstanding universal significance. Mukthinath temple has a monastery that is dedicated to Guru Rimpoche and containing a statue of the Buddhist deity Chenrezig and is famous for its continually  burning natural gas fire (miraculous fire) that Hindus worship as Jwala Mai, the Fire Goddess.
