Answer:
both school of thoughts admits only one thing in common, that the universe is in the motion by an unknown cause.
the deferred with the reason for example , Aristotelian concept says the universal nature of object is to be at rest and so the universe is moving and everything will be slowly comes to its rest.
But the Galilean concept says that the universal nature is in motion and the obstacles prevent from object from motion. once it allowed to move freely it will continue the moment in its path and won't stop at all. ( assuming there no obstacles in its path) .
the basic different is that the philosophy was a tool in ancient times to interpret the nature and when scientific method got the upper hand over philosophy the basic method as well as the concepts itself changed the developed periodically.
