Forests in India are generally owned by the public sector I.e the government
but hey mate, r u aware abt the privatisation of various sectors that's going on in India.
yup,its been reported by the social activists that forest also has been privatised
I m not aware whether all the forests in India are privatised.But a forest in south India has been privatised.
