  • Consumption of fruits and vegetables in adequate amounts.
  • Including plenty of starch-rich foods such as bread, rice etc.
  • Protein-rich food such as meat and fish should be consumed.
  • If the person is not lactose intolerant then the person should include dairy products in the diet.

Malnutrition is a serious health condition that happens when the diet lacks essential nutrients. Major symptoms of it include weakness, reduced appetite, poor wound healing and fatigue.
