i) One isomer of hexane is 2 methyl pentane. Hexane is an alkane with six carbon atoms. Isomers of an element are those having same molecular formula but different shapes or configuration.

In case of 2 methyl pentane, the number of linear carbon atom is five and a methyl group( CH3) is attached to the carbon atom in second position.

Structural formula of 2 methyl pentane is CH3-CH(CH3)-CH2-CH2-CH3.

ii) The electron dot configuration shows the electron pair shared in each of the bonds between carbon and hydrogen atom.
