Explanation:The British rule is indeed very notorious for being probably one of the most divided nation, ever. Because the colonies were in such despair, they rebelled against the capitol, turning their nations into 1. King Charles was a terrible leader, even going so far as having other rulers killed in order to keep "peace". It was definitely not the best life if you were say a beggar or a slave, even a peasant!
