Animals show symptoms of sickness in many ways. Their habits change sudenly. They become restless and irritable. Ine should check for loss of weight, for any strange odours. They tend to sleep a lot and are restless and keep changing locations. Other symtoms that should be checked are whether the anima ios coughing or having shallow breathing or having aby nasal or eye discharge.
Cattle mainly suffer from enteric or udder deseases. Enteric deseases are infections that develop in the intestinal tract. In udder deseases the signs are swelling, lesions or sores on the teats. Apart from these deseases they can also suffer from other deseases amongst which is the Zoonoses desease which can be passed on to humans.

2) the egg laying, milk yielding and working capacity of animal is reduced
3) High temperature and shivering
4) poor appetite
5) Watery nose
6) coughing and sneezing
7) look tired and remain isolated
8) they move slowly
Common diseases of cattle:
1) Gallsickness:
- generally passed by ticks and can also be spread by blood
- Symptoms includes lack of appetite, fever, pale to yellow gums and eyes and constipation
2) Tick borne disease:
- Ticks also infects cattles with redwater, heartwater and gallsickness
- older animals are more at risk
- vaccination should be done to prevent such disease.
