The advantage of five kingdom classification:
1.Five Kingdom classification was done by Whittaker and used criteria like cell organisation,body organisation,mode of nutrition,habitat of that organism.
2.Five kingdom's were Monera,Protista,Fungi,Plantae,Animalia.

The disadvantages of five kingdom classification are:
1.Space for virus was not specified.
2.Kingdom Protista includes animals which includes diverse forms .
3.Some organisms included under protista which are eukaryotes.
