Calcareous:

Carbonaceous rocks are a type of the sedimentary rocks formed by the deposition of sea plants which remained buried for a long period of time. Calcareous sediments are usually deposited in shallow water near land, since the carbonate is precipitated by marine organisms that need land-derived nutrients. ... Calcareous ooze is a form of calcium carbonate derived from plank tonic organisms that accumulates on the sea floor.

Carbonaceous:

Sedimentary rocks containing significant enrichment in organic matter over average sediments are called carbonaceous sedimentary rocks. The amount of organic matter required to designate a sediment as carbonaceous is not firmly established. Sedimentary rock has layers of sediments that are arranged according to their density. Compaction is the process by which sediments form sedimentary rock. Cementation is the process of minerals dissolving and then holding the particles together in a sedimentary rock.
