nucleus is also called as brain of the cell because it controls all the activities of a cell and it's present only in eukaryotes.. it was discovered by robert brown in 1831 ..
Nucleiod is the nuclear material present in the nucleus .... hope this will help u: D

~It has many chromosomes with proteins
~ It has nucleolus

Nucleoid-~It doesn't have nuclear membrane
~It is present in prokaryotic cell
~single strand of chromosomes without proteins
~it doesn't have nucleolus
