Answer:
Villages and city have completely different problems which can be notable most of the times.
Urban
1) Pollution (basically air is quite high in cities when compared to villages). Majority of the crowd in cities are are business person or well employed and they usually prefer going with their vehicles instead of public transport. Traffic is also a concern here but not the major issue.
2) Dirty water flowing through lakes and ponds, people throw unwanted things, plastic and other waste into the river by which the water bodies are becoming very dirty. Industries also contribute for the water pollution as they leave the chemical into the river without treating it. In case if the water is not clean for sure many will suffer from dysentery & jaundice soon or in future.
3) Trees being cut down for the construction of malls and buildings which was the home of many variety of birds. This is my personal experience once I visited a mall at around 6pm in the evening we came out and I observed that many parrots in a flock going to their half cut trees. I guess that the trees were cut down for the construction of mall.
4) Slums are growing rapidly in cities but I think there's no such solution for this problem as slum dwellers are poor and are daily labourers who can't afford much for rent. There's one thing which can bring down the slum is that the children growing in these areas should get good education and the government should assure that. There's a locality in Mumbai named Dharava which is the largest slum in India.
5) Noise pollution which distracts us most of the time especially the noise of vehicles and unnecessary horning, while in villages the surrounding is so calm that we can hear birds chirping.
