Valli had saved her money for months for this bus ride and planned all the things to prevent any problems. These points made the bus trip a much important one. In beginning Valli was bullied as little girl by the conductor but seeing her confidence and indulgence in talk later she was also treated as others with full respect. She was amazed by the views around the bus on her way to town . On the way to the sight of cow was also a great moment of fun for her but the same cow made her mood of on the journey back to the village. She showed sense of responsibility by refusing to go to the town fair and refusing the cold drink offered by conductor and finally was able to reach her home in time but to her surprise her mother was already awake and gossiping with her friend
