The guiding principles in our preamble are the characteristics of Indian state.Sovereign, Socialist, Secular, Democratic & Republic.

Sovereign - Independent + absolute authority over its territory. { Kashmir mangoge to cheer denge }

Socialist - Democratic socialism (Indian context) i.e. not ripping off Pvt. property and production units but regulating them for the benefit of all. { sabka sath sabka vikas }

Secular - No state religion but to promote all equally. { Ram = Allah = Jesus }, {only love ,no jihad}

Democratic - people's rule { every pappu have their say , even pappus can dream for PM post}

Republic - Head of the state is elected by people and therefore, ppl are the holders of political sovereignty. { unlike Britain's queen, who by blood and not by election heads the executive}

Now, All the 3 bodies of government, namely theexecutive, legislative & judiciary , their method of formation and their functions are such that they combinedly give effect to the above stated principles.
