Subject: End to Reservation System
Sir:
I am writing to your esteemed self to express my deep anguish over the issue of reservation system in our country. This system like cancer is eating the health of our nation. The wise men who proposed reservation system had different vision of bringing about economic equality in our country just after independence. However, with the passage of time the system has been corrupted and distorted by people who don’t want to work at all and who want to enjoy the national income for nothing.
Certain people are claiming reservation undeservedly. It has been seen that all the members of a family have been enjoying the benefits of quota system. This reservation has taken a heavy toll on the progress of our nation. Through the medium of your daily I appeal to people to rally up against the evil of reservation system. The Government must provide reservation to those who truly need it irrespective of caste, color, and religion. Kindly give my views enough voice in your reputed paper. I shall be grateful.
