What is a cell?
Cell is the structural and functional unit of life. It is the basic and the smallest component of life.
Components of the cell:-
Nucleus:-Nucleus is a double membrane bound cell organelle basically has the genes of the cell (DNA Dioxiribo Nucleic Acid and RNA Ribo Nucleic Acid)
Nuclear membrane:-The nuclear membrane protects the nucleus by forming a boundary between the nucleus and other cell organelles.
Vacuole:-Vacuole is membrane bound organelle that stores food ,water and other materials.
Lysosomes:-Lysosomes are also known as suicide bags of the cell because they take down the foreign bodies that enters the cell.
Mitochondria:-Mitochondria also known as power house of the cell as it produces ATP which provides energy to the cell.
Ribosomes:-Ribosomes does the protein synthesis in the cell.
Golgi apparatus:-Golgi apparatus transport substances inside a cell.
Cell membrane:-Cell membrane is a thin cover outside the cell.
