There are a plethora of ways by which one can utilise the wind energy. Some of the common methods are discussed below:

1. Wind Turbines: Wind Turbines have rotor in them i.e. series of blades followed by a shaft which is in turn connected to a generator. By this method, wind energy is converted to mechanical energy.2

2. There's a concept of Solar-Wind Panel which is fixed right near the wind turbines. It works interchangeably with turbines. They convert solar energy to electrical energy.

Most importantly, wind energy is renewable source of energy.
