Step-by-step explanation:
Solution :-
• Properties of addition :-
If a and b are two integer then,
a + b = Sum (Positive sign)
- a + b = Difference (The greater integer sign)
a + (-b) = Difference (The greater integer sign)
-a - b = Sum(Negative sign)
When an integer is added to 0 the sum is the integer itself.
Ex => -3 + 0 = -3
When an integer is added to its reciprocal sign the sum is 0.
Ex => 3 + (-3) = 0
• Properties of subtraction :-
If a and b are two integer then,
a - b = Difference (Positive sign) [When a > b]
a - b = Difference (Negative Sign) [When a < b]
- a - b = Sum (Negative sign)
a - (-b) = Sum (Positive sign)
When an integer is subtracted by 0 the difference is the integer itself
Ex => 3 - 0 = 3
