1. declarative sentence = Subject + M.V/H.V + predicate
a. Ram said, "I am going to school today"
Ram said that he was going to school that day
2. interrogative sentence = interrogative word / if / whether + subject + H.V + predicate
a. Mohan said, "What are you playing?"
Mohan asked what he was playing
b. Sweetie said, "Are you joining the team tomorrow?"
Sweetie asked whether he was joining the team the following day.
3. imperative sentence = subject + imperative word + to + predicate (in v1 form)
a. Shaya ordered, "Go bring me a cup of tea".
Shaya ordered to go bring him a cup of tea.
4. exclamatory sentence = ( its confusing i also don't know)
It has 3 types
a. Starting with exclamatory word
= Ram said, "Hurrah! we won".
⇒ Ram exclaimed with joy that they won.
b. Starting with interrogative word
= Ram said, "What! Are you kidding me".
= if it is what how etc, we will use very (only placed before adjective or verb not before noun, if there is noun we use great)
c. Starting with normal or simple
= Ram said, "Ice-cream are best!"
⇒ ram exclaimed with happiness that ice-cream were best
