Ok to start with,
lets take the negative sign out of the bracket,
hence, [-(p-5)] is what we get.
Now, squaring it, we get p2-10p+25
we got the answer by using (a-b)2 formula = a2-2ab+b2
and the -ve sign disappeared as (-)2 = +

(-p+5)²= (-p) ²+(5)²+2*(-p) *5 [since (a+b)²=a²+b²+2ab] = p + 25 + (-10p) = p + 25 -10p = -9p +25. Hope it helps please mark as branliest.

heythere12345: This answer is wrong!! how are you getting -9p?
heythere12345: and why are you using (a+b)2 formula
