You can easily do the separation using water.
CuSO4 is fairly soluble in water but CaCO3 is insoluble. So, when the mixture is treated with sufficient quantity of water, the copper salt undergoes dissolution leaving calcium carbonate unaffected. The blue solution of copper sulphate can be easily separated by filtration, and the filtrate on evaporation yields blue crystals of the hydrated salt (CuSO4.5H2O).
