1. Open Paint 3D and choose New to start a new project.
2. Choose the text tool from the top menu bar or just press "T" on your keyboard.
3. Select the three-dimensional symbol from the sidebar (3D text). You may also alter the font from the menu below, as well as size, color, bold, italics, underline, and alignment (by moving down and to the right) (left, right, center).
4. Click somewhere on the canvas to begin typing.
5. Click somewhere outside of the text box to make the canvas 3D.
6. To change the size of the text box, grab any of the four corners, or any of the four circles to change the orientation, angle, and depth.
