He takes us through his journey of adjusting, playing and travelling with Mijbil (or Mij) the otter, from Iraq to London and how during this journey, he developed an inseparable bond with him.

Summary -

• It is all about a pet otter. The author had a pet dog but when the dog died he decided to bring another. He got an Otter from Arabs. He names it Mijbil.
• Mij started sleeping on the floor. Mij took the time to adjust to his new home and the surroundings.
• The author had to go to London. He packed Mij in a box to take inside that flight. He kept Mij on his lap. After sometime Mij disappeared.
• One of the passengers shouted by looking at Mij, A woman screamed after looking at Mij. Soon Mij went to the author's knees.
• Mij enjoyed it a lot in London. Mij played with a ping-pong ball, marbles, and rubber fruits. Mij tries to catch the ball which ran down from the raised box.
• People guesses wild about Mij in London. No one knew about Otters in London. Some thought Mij is a walrus, beaver, brontosaur, etc.
• They also asked the author what (Mij) supposed to be.
