1. Recycling - It is the process of extracting resources from wastes. It may also be called recovery or reuse of the materials.
2. Composting - It is the biological degradation or breakdown of matter under aerobic conditions. Biodegradable wastes like leftover food, vegetable peels can be placed in long pits where these are degraded biologically.
3.Sewage Treatment - In this sewage waste is treated at sewage treatment plants to remove the solid wastes and kill microbes from it for further use.
