plxxx mark brainliest if helps plzzz....

A covalent bond is formed between two non-metals. The difference in electronegativity between the combining atoms of the two non-metals must be sufficiently low. The two combining atoms should have high ionization energy.

Answer:

Coordinate bond is formed between an atom containing a lone pair of electrons and another atom having empty oribital. Here nitrogen of ammonia contains a lone pair of electrons ( Lewis base) combines with hydrogen ion with empty s oribital ( Lewis acid) to form a coordinate or dative bond.
