Given : $5 + \frac{3}{10}$

Solution :  

• According to given question we have to find answer in decimal of above expression .

• To add me cross multiply denominator of rational number to whole number  and then add the product to the numerator by keeping the decimal same .
• $5 + \frac{3}{10}$  

         $= \frac{53}{10}$

• On dividing $53$ by $10$ we get $5.3$ as question .

Hence , answer in decimal is $5.3$ .
