Question:-

  • write each of the following equation in form ax+by+c=0 and indicate the values of a,b and c in each case 2y-3=√2x

Answer:-

  • \tt a = - \sqrt{2} \\ \tt b = 2 \\ \tt c = - 3

Solution:-

 \tt \implies 2y - 3 = \sqrt{2}x \\ \tt \implies2y - 3 - \sqrt{2} x = 0 \\ \tt \implies - \sqrt{2} x + 2y - 3 = 0 \: - - - 1\\

Now,

 \tt Comparing \: \: ax+by-c = 0 \: \: with \: \:equation \: \: 1

We get,

 \tt a = - \sqrt{2} \\ \tt b = 2 \\ \tt c = - 3
