A Mysterious Night with Aliens & an Unknown

Life-Saver…

It was a pleasant midnight. I

was sleeping tightly. My sleep was interrupted by a blasting sound. I was alone

… My parents were away for a week & I was staying with my Uncle Ron. Since

he is deaf, he slept peacefully unaware of the blast. I was totally losing my

heart when I realized that there is something mysterious happening in the

garden. I didn’t get enough time to wake Uncle up & inform him. I grabbed a

torch from my cupboard & rushed towards the place from which I heard the

loud sound. I used to be a coward till that time. But at that moment, I gained

some courage & that was for the first time in my life! I stood motionlessly

at the sight of many UFOs firing at Earth from clear sky. I couldn’t believe my

eyes! Is this the end of our planet? I screamed for help. But there was no use

of doing that! We lived in a lonely place at the hilltop. So there weren’t

anyone nearby to help us. Since Uncle Ron was deaf, he slept inside the house

unaware of the destruction happening outside. Suddenly I heard a robotic

announcement from one of the UFOs. It was as follows:

“Dear inhabitants of Earth,

We are the aliens from Planet

Zoono who have come here on Earth to take over it. Good-Bye forever to all

humans…

Well Earth, Time to Take You

On!!!! ..."

This announcement was ended

with a fire ball from the UFOs hitting the Earth… This shook the earth surface…

I turned white due to fear! I couldn’t maintain the courage I gained a few

minutes before I came to know what was going on…

I had no more lifelines other

than Uncle Ron! I managed to escape from the firing by aliens & reach Uncle

Ron who was lying motionlessly on his bed.  My heart was broken to find him unconscious.

He was hurt by the firing! I was no other option other than to prepare myself

for death!

I cried aloud, “Oh God, I’m

coming to you!!!” … Suddenly, I heard someone speaking, “Son, I am always with

you!” A bright light fell all over the entire place. It was from the sky! As

soon as the light came, all the UFOs disappeared & all the destruction

caused by them also vanished! My head felt to be heavy & I fainted seeing

the mysterious smile of the unknown life-saver!  When I regained my consciousness, I was on my

bed! My Uncle was making coffee for me! He said he had a nice sleep

yesterday!!! He isn’t aware of what happened at night!

This story happened 5 years ago. Still I have two unsolved questions in my mind regarding that mysterious night; ‘Was that dream or a true incident?’ ‘Was the unknown life-saver Lord Almighty?’The mystery remains unwrapped!!!

Explanation:

Once, long ago, in the land beyond the seas, there stood a tree.

Not in the forest did he stand; not with his brothers with their feet in the warming earth and their heads in the azure sky. Not in the mountains did he stand; not with his cousins with their feet in the steadfast rock and their heads in the thrilling breeze. In a swamp he stood, with his feet in loathsome bog and his head in mist and fog and choking cloud.

Nothing lived in the swamp save the tree.

“I cannot stay,” she said to the tree. “My roots lie drowned in loathsome bog and it is poisoning me. I need the sun.”

“Then go,” said the tree, whose own roots lay drowned in loathsome bog. “But I will find the sun and then you will return.”

“I will,” said Gillyflower, but she did not believe the tree could find the sun.

Once, Squirrel had tried to run in the swamp. He came to the trunk of the tree and climbed, winding around. But he shivered and grew pale.

“I cannot stay,” he said to the tree. “My body is scourged by mist and fog and it is poisoning me. I need the sun.”

“Then go,” said the tree, whose own trunk was scourged by mist and fog. “But I will find the sun and then you will return.”

“I will,” said Squirrel, but he did not believe the tree could find the sun.

Once, Lark had tried to sing in the swamp. She came to the branches of the tree and spread her wings and opened her throat. But she shivered and grew pale.

“I cannot stay,” she said to the tree. “My throat is stifled by choking cloud and it is poisoning me. I need the sun.”

“Then go,” said the tree, whose own leaves were stifled by choking cloud. “But I will find the sun and then you will return.”

“I will,” said Lark, but she did not believe the tree could find the sun.

The tree stood alone. Although he yearned for warming earth and azure sky, and though he longed for steadfast rock and thrilling breeze, he would not leave the swamp. He pushed his branches high, searching, ever searching, but the loathsome bog, the mist and fog and choking cloud, all poisoned him.

He did not believe that he could find the sun.

“Go,” said the tree. “Gillyflower tried to grow here but her roots lay drowned in loathsome bog and she shivered and grew pale.”

“I have nowhere else to go,” said the vine. “I will help you find the sun.” And she came to the base of the tree and sent down her roots.

“Go,” said the tree. “Squirrel tried to run here but his body was scourged by mist and fog and he shivered and grew pale.”

“I have nowhere else to go,” said the vine. “I will help you find the sun.” And she came to the trunk of the tree and climbed, winding her stem around him.

“Go,” said the tree. “Lark tried to sing here but her throat was stifled by choking cloud and she shivered and grew pale.”

“I have nowhere else to go,” said the vine. “I will help you find the sun.” And she came to the branches of the tree and spread her tendrils and opened her leaves.

The tree felt the vine’s roots twining round his own. He felt the vine’s stem twining round his trunk. He felt the vine’s tendrils twining round his branches. He felt the vine’s love twining round his heart.

But without the sun, the vine shivered and grew paler than before. The tree pushed his branches higher, taking the vine with him. Still the vine shivered and her stem grew thinner than before. Higher the tree pushed his branches. Still the vine shivered and her tendrils grew weaker than before. Higher and higher pushed the tree.

But high as he pushed his branches, the tree found nothing but choking cloud.

“I am sorry,” said the vine. “I cannot help you find the sun.”

She shivered once, then stopped. Her roots stopped twining around the tree’s own. Her stem stopped twining around the tree’s trunk. Her tendrils stopped twining around the tree’s branches.

Her love still twined around the tree’s heart.

“No!” cried the tree. And he pushed his branches higher and higher until he thought his heart would break...

... and he found the sun.

The tree pushed his branches further through the choking cloud and into azure sky and thrilling breeze. The sun shone down upon him.

But he thought his heart would break.

Then, the vine shivered.

The sun shone down upon her leaves and they grew green. The sun shone down upon her stem and it grew thick. The sun shone down upon her tendrils and they grew strong. And one by one, buds appeared upon the vine, and one by one buds opened on the vine, and one by one roses bloomed and blushed upon the tree.

“You have found the sun,” said the rose-vine.

“We have found the sun together,” said the tree.

And the sun shone down upon the swamp. It dried away the loathsome bog. It burned away the mist and fog. It chased away the choking cloud. Gillyflower came and grew about the base of the tree. Squirrel came and climbed around the trunk of the tree. Lark came and sang upon the branches of the tree.

And the tall tree and the rose-vine grew ever more entwined.

hope it helps..!!
