Sodium hydrogen carbonate + Hydrochloric acid —> Sodium chloride + Water + Carbon dioxide. Hydrogen Carbonates /bi carbonates mean the same . When , Metal carbonated react with acids also , the product is same i.e salt + water + Carbon dioxide
