- Calcium reacts with water to form Calcium Hydroxide and Hydrogen gas.
- This reaction can happen even if cold water is used.
iii) ⇒
- Here, Potassium reacts with water to form Potassium Hydroxide and Hydrogen gas.
- This reaction can also happen even if cold water is used.
Note: In all these reaction Hydrogen is produced which is highly flammable. So, necessary precautions need to be taken.
