Answer:

being brave !!

Explanation:

Answer:

Throughout my life there have been may opportunities where the only way to get through a situation is to be brave. I'm not the type of person to feel shy or nervous about things and can usually tackle anything without feeling a single drop in my stomach or fear in my head.

My best example in the past past year of being brave and using courage to get through it, has been working at this neighborhood pool. I started working there the summer after my freshman year of high school when I was only 15 years old. Because this is a neighborhood pool, there is only 2 guards on duty at a time with no other staff or management around. Of the 10 guards that worked there, most of us were under 18 which meant that an entire pool was held down by two kids

Being brave does not always mean slaying a beast or chasing armed robbers. For the common individual, it simply means being able to maintain one's cool during an extremely unfamiliar and at times dangerous situation. It also means being able to help someone else or act in a way that reduces the impact of the situation.

Being brave has different meanings for different people. For some it may be the ability to be honest and be able to speak up when everyone else lacks the courage to do that. One student standing up against a school bully is also an example of bravery, as is being able to deal with the sudden loss of a parent and still emotionally supporting the other parent. Being brave is all about emotions and overcoming them in a positive way.

Bravery is a very subjective concept. A soldier and his family are brave in different ways. The soldier needs to be able to deal with physically and mentally endangering situations while his family needs to face emotional trauma bravely. Yet, both are brave. Also, any0ne can be brave, from a child to a mother, to a grandfather. The type and level of bravery may vary, but the concept remains the same.
