Throughout my life there have been may opportunities where the only way to get through a situation is to be brave. I'm not the type of person to feel shy or nervous about things and can usually tackle anything without feeling a single drop in my stomach or fear in my head.
My best example in the past past year of being brave and using courage to get through it, has been working at this neighborhood pool. I started working there the summer after my freshman year of high school when I was only 15 years old. Because this is a neighborhood pool, there is only 2 guards on duty at a time with no other staff or management around. Of the 10 guards that worked there, most of us were under 18 which meant that an entire pool was held down by two kids …show more content…
