Fathers are said to provide a sense of security and safety among daughters, which is something my father has always given me. Many studies do suggest that daughters look for a man who may be similar to how their father was with them; if he was nurturing or strong. Sons see their fathers as role models, whom they should grow up to be like and imitate their behavior.
