The definition of "faith" is "trust in someone or something" (according to Merriam-Webster dictionary), so I would say that "blind faith" would mean "absolute trust".
In my opinion, trust is good because it is an integral part of healthy relationships, and relationships are ultimately what matters in a person's life (e.g. parental, spousal, friends, etc).
With that said, I believe that "blind faith" as an act itself is good, because that means that there is a deep, intimate relationship that is currently happening, and such relationship gives meaning to a person's life.
So the "bad" thing about blind faith isn't so much about "blind faith" as an act, but rather who is the blind faith been given to. This is important because while deep relationships gives meaning to a person's life, if the quality of the relationship is bad/abusive, then the person is vulnerable to being hurt/devastated/influenced to do bad things.
